Dance Lessons NYC: Three Banging Dance Tracks For Summer

If you’ve taken some dance lessons in NYC and you consider yourself something of an expert, you’re probably looking for some hot new tracks to “get low” to. Here are a few of our favorite bangers for the summer months:

1. “Wut” by Le1f — This incredibly catchy track has everything; horns, a catchy hook, and a bouncy baseline. Besides being a fantastic dance track, “Wut” is a progressive rap track in that Le1f is openly gay, and in the video, he seduces a white boy wearing a Pikachu mask by showing off his twerking and speed-rapping abilities.

2. “Express Yourself” by Diplo (ft. Nicky Da B) — This grimy take on a New Orleans bounce track demands that you get low. Complete with an outrageous video featuring girls demonstrating exactly how Nicky Da B wants you to dance to the track, “Express Yourself” is the summer house-party song of 2012.

3. “212″ by Azealia Banks — This catchy track by Azealia Banks will be stuck in your head for a week. It’s not really from this summer, but it feels like a summer track and it has such a driving beat that no one will complain if you put it on at a party.

If you love these tracks, but you’re not confident in your abilities to rule the club, you can find dance lessons in NYC or wherever you’re located on HeyKiki. If you just want someone to go out dancing with, you can connect with other dancers in your area using the site’s practice feature.
