Fun Winter Dance Routines for Kids

Winter is a season when movements of body slow down due to dripping down in the temperature of atmosphere. Children also get bored sometimes in this season as they have to stay indoors. For kids, some fun dances can be organized which will entertain them as well as keep them warmed up.

Dancing in the form of natural things- Children can be divided into four different groups- snowflakes, wind, geese and shooting stars. Then they can be asked to move as per their role and produce different sounds as well. You can give kids white scarves or other costumes which can give the feeling of snow. This way kids can be engaged in dance in the chilling season.

Snowman Dance- You can place a puppet of snowman or a similar toy in the center of the place where you wish kids to perform dance. Then kids can be asked to sing and dance about the snowman to the tune of the song. Children can be asked to dance clockwise or counter-clockwise, away from and close to the snowman.

Freestyle Dance- It is a dance that can be performed in any way as liked by the kids. Activities such as snow ball fights, skiing, snow angels, and so on can be performed. A white fabric can be used to impart the feeling of a snowstorm.

How to Take Care of Your New Gloves

Just like any other sport, boxing has its own sports gear and accessories that should be used and maintained. Not merely involving in boxing and playing to the best is important, we have to know the ways of using and maintaining these sports gear and accessories as well. It is a well known fact that the sports gear is prone to easy wear and tear compared to the other stuff due to the rough handling and changing environmental factors it encounters. As far as boxing gloves, they could be considered the most important items a boxer has to use well and at the same time maintain well.

Maintenance of gloves is not a difficult issue if we start to give proper attention right from the time we start using them. The simplest tip that is ought to be followed by every boxer is to wipe them completely after every workout. Having a separate wash cloth or good quality antiseptic spray to wipe the gloves in and out would keep the gloves free of bacteria and other germs. Instead of dumping the gloves into the bag as soon as the workout is over, it would be better to dry them under a fan so that the mugginess and any foul smell are reduced. One could also use dryer sheets inside the gloves to keep them dry. Or else, cedar chips could be filled in two socks and after tightly packing them they could be placed in each glove. Hamster bedding is also a good alternative for cedar chips.
